Golden Valley Golf and Country Club offers an outdoor, heated swimming pool with an ample sunning deck. The pool opens annually on Memorial Day weekend, and closes on Labor Day weekend. The pool area also includes a wading pool for youngsters, lockers, shower facilities, a canteen for dining poolside. A Pool Director, along with a full staff of certified lifeguards, provides safety assurances for our swimmers. Instructors are available for semi-private and group lessons for all ages, along with Swim Team opportunities for members' children and grandchildren.
Tennis:
There are nine outdoor tennis courts--six Har-Tru clay courts and three hard-surface tennis courts, available by reservation, along with a deck for resting and socializing. The Club employs a full-time Director of Tennis and a professional staff who operate one of the best tennis programs in the Twin Cities. The club offers lessons, special events, and a Tennis Pro Shop. There is an active Junior Program that offers a great opportunity for members' children and grandchildren of all ages to enjoy the game of tennis
